Introduction

Those of us who play the slots, play for a variety of reasons and winning is certainly one of those reasons. Very few of us play the slots because we want to lose our money but we do want to get a certain amount of enjoyment out of our slot playing dollar as well as the anticipation of a possible win, even a jackpot. My slot playing experience spans some thirty years and the changes that have taken place in that short span of time are staggering.

Considering these changes and the arrival of the internet it seemed a perfect time to prepare a manual of sorts for you the slot player. It's not that there aren't enough books written on the topic but there is a lot of misinformation and misunderstanding about slots. A lot of what is written is no more than opinion, some is based on experience and some is based on fact.

This site will attempt to identify each of these elements as they apply so that you the reader can come to your own conclusions. There are also many myths accompanying the playing of slots, things that some slot player believe to be true but are meaningless to the outcome of a spin of the reels.

The purpose of this slotbook is to provide as complete a vehicle for the slot player as will be found anywhere on or off of the internet. Slots are not generally understood partly because of a lot of misinformation distributed by well meaning authors and in some cases authors out to make a buck with "how to win" books on slots and other games of chance. Everyone wants to win and so it is easy to understand how books of this kind are so successfull. Winning at slots is largely a matter of LUCK!

Some authors will tell you where the loose slots are placed in a casino but they don't tell you that loose slots mean different things to different people. For most of us a loose slot is the slot that allowed us to go away a winner. Not really loose but luck on the part of the player.
